A REVIEW OF IMPORTANT POTATO DISEASES AND THEIR MANAGEMENT

ABSTRACT

The article provides information on the disease Phytophthora infestans of potatoes. Phytophthora infestans persists between potato crops as mycelium in infected tubers or tomato fruit in the absence of the oospore stage.
