EFFECTIVE LEARNING OF TRANSLATION STRATEGIES AND APPLICATION OF THEORETICAL KNOWLEDGE: A PANACEA FOR TRANSLATIONS QUALITIES

Translation is a complex cognitive and linguistic process that requires both theoretical knowledge and practical skill. The effectiveness of translation relies heavily on the translator's ability to apply learned strategies systematically while considering the cultural and contextual nuances of the target language. This paper explores the significance of effective learning of translation strategies and the application of theoretical knowledge as a means to enhance translation quality. It highlights the role of translation theories in guiding linguistic choices and ensuring accuracy, fluency, and coherence in the translated text. Additionally, the study examines the impact of structured training programs and experiential learning in refining translators’ competencies. By integrating theoretical frameworks with hands-on practice, translators can improve their ability to navigate challenges such as idiomatic expressions, syntactic variations, and cultural differences. This study concluded that a strong theoretical foundation fosters critical thinking and problem-solving in complex translation tasks. Practical application bridges the gap between theory and real-world translation challenges. This study
also recommended that It enables translators to develop analytical skills to assess texts critically and apply the most suitable translation techniques for better quality outcomes.
